THE ROLE
The Ecommerce Director/ Manager reports directly to the CEO and is ultimately responsible for the success and growth of the Ecommerce department as a whole. You will use your previous experiences to manage all aspects of the sales of products via our website.
You have great insights to Vietnamese shoppers and know what they want. You will put this knowledge into action by ensuring company always offers the best customer experience for online retailing of fashion products. You closely monitor the performance of each team and the department as a whole, soak up all feedback given from customers and sales data and use it to continuously improve your performance.
You build, manage and lead your team to ensure knowledge is passed down, junior staff are being supported and that your team works efficiently as a galvanized unit where the team members support and back each other.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties of the Ecommerce Director/ Manager will include (but not be limited to) the following areas:
Work closely with the CEO to manage the Ecommerce department consisting of driven individuals to generate online sales, efficient operations and great customer experience;
Work with the CEO to form a strategy and appropriate milestones, targets and KPIs for the Ecommerce department;
Work closely with the CEO and other Managers and department heads within the company to establish appropriate operational procedures and work flows for the Ecommerce department and its interaction with other categories and departments;
Complete responsibility for the growth, development and success of the Ecommerce department and its performance against set-out KPI’s;
Acquisition of new online users through market research, direct approach and sign-up to ensure company has a growing online customer database;

Liaising with other departments to ensure the Ecommerce department performs to its full potential by targeting the right customers, capturing the relevant data and has the appropriate infrastructure and systems to efficiently fulfill and deliver all products;
Manage communication with other parts of the company on behalf of the Ecommerce department; and
Work closely with the Human Resources department to continuously train, mentor and develop the employees in the department for ongoing improvement and development.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience from a leading Vietnamese ecommerce venture in a Management role or at least 5-7 years of experience within retailing and supply chain management;
Extensive knowledge of, and contact network with, ecommerce suppliers and stakeholders such as logistics, customer service, payments and online marketing providers in Vietnam;
Experience of forming and managing effective stakeholder and supplier relationships;
A proven leadership track record;
Good excel and presentation skills;
Ability to deliver tangible results whilst working in a challenging and ever changing environment;
Ability to face and resolve multiple issues in a collaborative manner; and
Ability to plan, work to a structured timetable and be focused on deliverables.
