The Job

RESPONSIBILITIES

Role requires extensive Marketing experience in Vietnam along with commercial experience, with the ability to provide business direction to all functions, including sales. Depending on the candidate and performance the role will soon evolve into a country head position.

Develop and implement brand and marketing strategies for new and existing products i.e. campaigns, events, digital marketing, and e-commerce activities. Directly work with Sales leader and provide them with appropriate tools and materials to meet their commercial objectives and subsequently the company’s business aims.

Marketing Planning and Execution (50%)
• Work closely with Regional Marketing team to align with regional group’s overall marketing direction
• Lead all branding and marketing activities in Vietnam with focus on executing amplification plans with excellence.
• Input to mid and long term plan and strategy while keeping aligned with the company‘s vision and direction
• Manage overall marketing budget and ensure resources are fully utilized for the company’s benefit
• Lead execution of plans to build brand equity/loyalty
• Lead direct marketing strategies and techniques to increase customers
• Carry out market segmentation, targeting and positioning for all product lines
• Work closely with Region/other functions to develop NPD and renew existing products according to their brand strategies
• Lead interaction with sales, SCM, finance for plan execution

Advertisement (20%)

• Raise consumer awareness of according to the respective brand strategies
• Develop commercial strategy
• Establish and implement strategic and tactical communication plan
• Create content for brand development, TVC, digital movie, POSM
• Develop effective digital marketing strategies
• Engage with target consumers via social media, mainly Facebook
• Manage activities such as offline marketing, roadshows at up-country Vietnam, company sponsored events, etc.
• Control advertisement budget to meet company target

Design & package material

• Design package, sales tools, digital visuals, event booths, OOH, print AD, etc.
• Keep up-to-date with new FDA regulations and laws (packaging and labelling) and ensure compliance
• Control printing schedule (proof, checklist)
• Uphold package quality, mainly color
• Consider cost reduction plans for packaging

Market Analysis (20%)

• Conduct research and analysis on consumer lifestyle and behaviour
• Gather information and analyse market environment, market competition and business conditions
• Equip all Marketing members with relevant knowledge
• Coordinate research to evaluate marketing initiatives
• Direct the annual customer segmentation analysis with a focus on improving marketing processes

Others (10%)
• Provide business direction to and engage, support multi-functional team members so that they can be productive and ensure that open and effective communication exists within the organization at all times.
• Build functional and leadership capability for all positions and develop talent pipeline.
• Drive productivity, continuous service improvement and resources optimization to improve costs and efficiency.
• Manage the administrative work related to country operations on a need basis
• Any other tasks or assignment from reporting manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Business Administration or equivalent. Master’s degree is an added advantage
• At least 12 years of professional experience
• Has experience in FMCG/Brand and Sales Management in FMCG or food industries/working in an agency
• Ability to analyse and utilize marketing information to formulate effective plans
• Able to supervise, lead, communicate and work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in Vietnamese and English.
